As the owner of Parker Audiology and someone with a personal journey to clearer hearing, Dr. Parker loves sharing the gift of sound. Her own experience started with an earmold impression for a hearing aid at 5 years old. She eventually wore two devices, opening her world to the richness of sound from hearing out of both ears. She brings her passion, perspective, and experience with diverse hearing technologies over the years to the Quad City community members she serves, feeling blessed that she can create a bridge from her patients’ communication challenges to a pathway for better hearing.
Dr. Parker is dedicated to understanding everything hearing related, and it shows. She earned her master’s degree in audiology at the University of Iowa — Go, Hawkeyes! — and her Doctor of Audiology at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. Her love for helping people not only hear their best but understand how to achieve it, whether through medical treatment or hearing technology, led her to work in — and eventually take over — a small private practice that became the Parker Audiology patients count on today. Outside the office, she enjoys family time, sporting events, and traveling.
Tricia Gross, M.A., CCC-A, joined Parker Audiology in January 2017. Tricia grew up in Rock Island, Illinois, and has been practicing audiology in the Quad Cities for the last 14 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts in speech-language pathology from the University of Tennessee in 1999 and her Master of Arts in audiology from the University of Tennessee in 2001.
She primarily specializes in adult diagnostics and the fitting of hearing instruments, with a focus on counseling patients and their families on the effects of hearing loss and communication strategies. Tricia loves connecting with her patients and their families on a personal level and prides herself on making all her patients feel welcomed and valued in her office. When not in the office, Tricia enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their four children.
